Milestones in Lovely Bones

Why does Susie lose herself in the life experiences of Lindsey more than in those of anyone else?

  2. I think it is because of the way Lindsey reacts form the start. She is always mostly concerned with Susie and what happened and where she is. She fights the hardest for Susie’s peace. Jack is forced to step up to his family. Ruth puts the energy to prevention. Ray tried to fight through it. Lindsey wants to know what happened to Susie. She first asks which body part is it. She doesn’t hesitate to break in to Mr. Harvey’s house. They have a connection. “Lindsey’s face flushed; mine flushed up I heaven.”

  3. I think Susies loses herself in Lindsey because not only they were close but also Susie not ever going to experience the things in life they way Lindsey does. Susie watches Lindsey because by watching her she experices through Lindsey (not finish
